Many of our clients (agents) have expressed concern about the lack of listings. Here at CMR, the largest concern is getting those listings onto the syndicated sites before they go under contract.
We (CMR) battle everyday to get the listings to appear onto the sites from MLS to the 3rd party vendors before they go under (under contract).
While it is great news that listings are moving so quickly for our agents, we are having a tough time getting the listing goes live on the 3rd party sites. Most websites will not accept (under contract, pending, sold, or any other status besides “active” to appear on their sites. These feeds are then blocked by the 3rd party site which prevents the Agents to view the listing as well as get back up aka Contingent offers in the event that the deal does not come to fruition. Here at CMR completely understand your frustration because an inactive listing does not convert to a sale. We work closely with the 3rd party vendors to find solutions that would give our clients (agents) the opportunity to post the listing so they can showcase it to their clients(sellers) and even as a future portfolio piece for prospective clients (sellers).
